So the pre-sale CDs have all gone out and we had a lot of fun packing them up and sending them all. Thanks to the 120 advance sales from lovely people out there without whose help this would never have happened!

A cool thing happened this week - record industry tip-sheet 'Record Of The Day' made us Record Of The Day on Tuesday! Here's what they said:

'We first featured Georgia Wonder with the beautiful 'Girl You Never Knew' last year, a song which we thought was (and still is) crying out for a great movie or TV sync. New EP Destroy is their follow-up. They've earned plenty of coverage on tech and music blogs with their innovative promotional ideas which depend on both fan-power and the web. An example of the savvy micro-management of their own marketing, the CD pressing of this EP was funded by fan's online pre-sales. Their latest project 'Made In Nevada' - to record their album in a music shop during and after opening hours - has got them coverage on Hypebot, Techdirt and Boing Boing and local BBC TV coverage is lined up. The stories wouldn't mean much without the music, so thankfully Destroy is another belter - a brilliantly overwrought, theatrical show-stopper of a song which is worthy of your consideration.'

As you can imagine we're pretty chuffed with this. Moomin the cat wasn't so sure however.
